God at Work in Perth and Beyond

Jo leads heath care training at YWAM Perth. She also has two small children. Her husband develops missionary training materials. It's a lot to carry.

Every day, Chris & Jo sit down to lunch and dinner that has been prepared for them so they don't have to worry about it. They feel taken care of and empowered to serve God without sacrificing care for their family.

Impact Through Everyday Faithfulness

I have the privilege of working with Dave closely for the last 15 years and have seen him lead and serve with a commitment to great excellence. In Dave's role, not only does he produce hundreds of meals each week for the community of YWAM Perth, he also leads and disciples with intent and dedication the groups of people that assist him.

I have observed him in his task serving with love and kindness and represent Jesus style leadership. He exemplifies creativity and is so gifted in how he produces beautiful meals for many people in an environment with limited resources and trained hands - but through this I have truly seen him show up each day to give his best.

He is a deeply loved member in our community, a wonderful leader and serves with dedication and excellence.

After a long day of sometimes rewarding and sometimes just challenging ministry, one of the things that keeps me going is a tasty, nutritious meal and the community I get to have around the lunch or dinner table each day.

Dave's work in the kitchen is an integral part of the YWAM Perth community and mission thriving. Without it, I wouldn't be able to do the work I do sustainably. He's also someone who has brought important discipleship to me and many other young missionaries over the years.
